Galatians (Part 2) Pleasing Man or God?
Christians will likely encounter opposition in many areas of their lives and must decide whether to please God or man. Although it’s not always that cut-and-dry, at times, pleasing man is pleasing to God, and in other situations, pleasing God means offending man. In this message Pastor John explains the difference.
Galatians (Part 1)
Pastor John beings a series on the book of Galatians. In Part 1 he will cover what an apostle is and how they are still relevant today.
Who Am I? — Where Does Your Devotion Lie In 2025?
Pastor John shares his vision for 2025 and issues a challenge for you to join in the vision and mission of Bethel Church Choctaw.
Experiencing the Gospel…Caution it might be uncomfortable at times.
Much, if not all, that Christ did on earth went against the grain. He had a way of standing for the underdog that caused the blood of the religious to boil. In this message Pastor John points out that, as Christians, there will be times when you will be called to go against the grain just as Jesus did.
A Clear Conscience
Too often we struggle with guilt and shame. In this message, Pastor John shares this truth: “When Christ came to cleanse us of our sin, he didn’t leave a residue of guilt behind.” (PLEASE NOTE: At the 1:07 mark in the video, Pastor John seems to be interrupted during his message. However, this was a planned “skit” to make a point. Be sure to watch till the end even if the audio is not legible.)
Go Ye…(Part 2)
As Christians our focus tends to be attracted to the fruit causing us to miss the tree. Scripture says we war not against flesh and blood. The enemy rubs the sin of man in the face of the church because he knows if he can distract us with the fruit we will never minister to the tree.
Set Apart
You’ve been set apart for God’s special purpose.
Giving Thanks
Giving thanks in all circumstances is the key to contentment and sharing the love of God.
Go Ye…The Door Is Open
Darkness only exists in the absence of light. It’s time for the church to shine it’s light into the darkness rather than run away from it.
That’s My King – “God Is My Provider” (Part 2)
In this message Pastor John shows the importance of putting our trust in the King of Kings for our provision and not an “outside” entity. (Please note, the video of today’s message has 12 minutes of “dead time” at the beginning and also there was some problems with one of the mics. We are sorry for this inconvenience.)
