Camp Fusion 2018 “Young and Purposed” concluded with an exciting and challenging message from Youth Pastor Tayler Burchett. Tayler shared several strategies to help bridge the generational gap that plagues many of the churches today.
Camp Fusion 2018, “Young and Purposed” kicked off on Wednesday night July 11. It was an exciting time of praise and worship and the camp speaker David Tompkins challenged the students to be “standard setters.”
You have an influence in this world and you are an influence that can be used to further the cause of Christ. Jesus used the metaphors of salt and light to explain how His followers are to be influences for the purpose of flavoring, preserving and illuminating something other than themselves. Pastor Temple defines influence as: “The power or capacity to affect or alter by indirect or intangible means.”
In the message Pastor Temple will outline why it is necessary for individuals and the church to have the power of the Holy Spirit in operation in their lives and the church. He will also explain what the power of the Holy Spirit will do for you in your life.
After reviewing the signs that that indicate you may have become the focus rather than Christ, Keith discusses seven attitudes the Christian can have that will help them to “decrease” which will naturally lead to Christ increasing.
